genetic engineering to elimate mutations

based on my research i believe that the genetic engineering of humans is wrong because i feel if we were to go through with the genetic engineering of humans we would lose a lot in the world to day plus we could be looking at more abortions because women would want the perfect child. we would also be look at segregation again between natural selection and those that were genetically engineered. i feel that if we were to do this that it should only be used for cancer and other major diseases like it. we shouldn't be using it just to make a perfect kid or the perfect athlete or anything like that. i f feel that my peers would thing the same because of all the risks that stand by on this subject. i do feel that genetic engineering of animals is okay because that's how dogs and cats and other animals were brought into the world today.

i feel that genetic engineering of animals is ok because that is how dogs and cats were brought into the world plus we may be able in the future to cure diseases by changing the genetic code of humans and in that case it would be a good thing to do but also there may be pultinal risks that may occur. yet we still dont know what the future holds but we have done this with animals and it turned out good so continueing it wont be that big of a deal. yes there are pros and cons to this but what is the worst that has happend yet?

the data base helps people

a chinese offical has stated that the DNA data base has of parents has helped over 2,000 aducted kids return home, plus authorties have resuced over 19,000 abducted children plus 35,000 women return to were they belong if they have been gone for so long that they them selfs can not remeber then it would be right there in the data base. we have also helped over 19000 cases useing the DNA database and with in that the united states has the largest DNA data base system in the world.

having everyone in the data base benfit in a good way or bad?

having everyone in the data base can go both ways, it can be good for us because it would help stop criminals a lot faster and but them behind bars and it would also help us to find a lost child's parents if that were to come along and instead of it taking more than a year to find out all we have to do is look at the DNA data base and we can track down the kids parents that much faster. yes it can be bad also because some may feel like there is more known about them then should be and that may interfere with their personal lives some what but in all reality it doesn't do much harm because the government is not gonna spill out every detail to the mark about you.

should everyones dna be in the data base?

i think that every should have their DNA in the data base just because that would help us catch criminals a lot faster and then the crime rate would would go down also. with having your DNA in the data base i feel that it wont hurt and nor interfere with any freedom because its just in there for the greater good and not bad because its not like the government is going to be looking to see and find every little thing there is to know about u the majority of it would just to help solve crimes a lot faster and put criminals behind bars were they belong.
